Dear Guillame Lantendresse,
You now have some serious competition for my favorite NHL name.
Whom, you might ask? Is it Petteri Nokelainen? No, but his name is pretty righteous. Is it Antero Niittymaki? No, but his name is also pretty badass.
No, the new name (literally) thrown into the mix belongs to rookie Jordan Lavallee-Smotherman. Granted, his first name could be a little more spicy, but when I saw his name on the scoreboard last night, I thought sure NHL.com and made an egregious error and combined multiple players' names. But no, Mr. Lavallee-Smotherman, your name is just that long.

I salute you and your parents for their new-age "let's combine our names into one" approach to life.
Love,
Anne
MY GOD, I can't wait to see the back of his jersey! How does it all fit?!
haha he's a doll too! There are so many letters in that name I almost get lost in it.
ReplyDeleteoh yeah Jordan does have a wickedly awsome last name. Heck, I just dig "smotherman" as a name.. LOL
ReplyDeleteI think it's almost time to do what the Hockey News used to do and put together guys with cool names into "theme" lines.
I may make into a weekly feature if I can find some good ones..
:)
