The NHL has a schedule ready just in case they are forced to move the Coyotes from Phoenix. They'd be re-located to the 'Peg and be the Jets again. They'd be in the Northwest Dvision and the Avs would move to the Pacific.
Crazy, crazy times. I'm not sure what the likelihood of this happening is, but isn't it crazy? Read about it more here.
Also, all day on Twitter I've been asking people for their top 3-5 favorite NHL players, tell me yours! I just like knowing these things. I may post about it later.

The schedule comes out today!

I'm trying to make this more exciting than it really is!!
There isn't really much about the schedule that isn't to be expected. We know how many times we'll play each team, with the exception of the three at large games.
Mostly I'm looking for who is coming to HSBC Arena and when. Also, MK and I have kicked around the idea of going to Chicago for a game, and I've been thinking about heading to Pittsburgh for a game maybe.
The DRAMA going down in Chicago this off-season has been fantastic and I can't wait to see the fall-out next year when Kaner, Tazer and Keith(er?) are all going to be coming down the Free Agent conveyor belt.
Speaking of Kaner, MK's boyfriend Cory came back from Chicago and brought me a Kane t-shirt. Not being the world's biggest Blackhawks fan, I suppose if I had to choose a 'Hawk to support individually it would be Kaner.

I want you all to know that I just paid 7 dollars to get WiFi in Midway Airport so I could download the Sabres schedule so I can add it into iCal when I'm on the plane.

Still thinking about that contract extension? Our dearly beloved netminder turns 28 today. Yay! Can you sign your contract extension now?!?! Pretty please??!?!?
And I'll be in Michigan for like an hour today for a layover. I mean, uh, cuz I love Ryan Miller so much. Yes. That's why. Not because my flight just happens to connect in Detroit. Nope, Ryan Miller.
I think its interesting that we play Detroit twice next season and so does Pittsburgh. Interesting. I wonder which other Eastern Conference opponent they play twice? Oh, it's Atlanta. SNOOZE. Well, it's Hossa's former team...? Eh, who cares.
The other reason I love July 17 is that its the sample day on iCal so when its closed and when its open the date says the same thing. It's the little things in life, people!
I'm still pommerdoodling over Paille signing too. Pommerdoodling so much that I seriously am considering buying Paille jersey. PIE! YAY!
