Who Wants To Hang Out With the Coolest Kids in School?

by Anne

Tomorrow, Saturday November 8, several of we slick Buffalo bloggers will be gathering in what is sure to be the single most awesome Buffalo Sabres game watching get together of all time. Party in the Plaza? Pfft. Watching the Winter Classic at HSBC Arena? LAME. This get together was the brainchild (I love that word, that and doppelganger) of Tedd over at First Time Long Time.

HOWEVER. It appears, based on the RSVPs that I have encountered that S(h)ara and I will be the only estrogen at this partay. I will be there in full make-up, heels and Sabres jersey and I will squeal the same amount for when they show Paul Gaustad helmetless during the national anthem as when Jaroslav Spacek hits Phil Kessel so hard he won't rememeber where he lives. I will punch random passersby in disgust when Boston starts busting out the trap and will probably come up with at least 2 or 3 totally ridiculous nicknames that only make sense to me. Come on, ladies! Think of all the HOT male Buffalo bloggers that will be there, SURELY S(h)ara and I shouldn't have the prviledge of having the menfolk all to ourselves.

Alack and Fie, Heather B. has to travel for a funeral and Katebits will be viola-ing the night away, Cari and Kim are actually IN Boston but I KNOW THERE ARE MORE OF Y'ALL.

Non-Bloggers welcome too!

ANYWAY. I hope you all will be there to cheer on the boys as they take on the Bruins!! 41 Virginia Place, off of Allen, by the intersection of Delaware and Allen. Just follow all the vibes of "There are some really cool people somewhere nearby" that will be coming from that general vicinity.

Basically, if you're not there, this is what will happen:

What? No! Craigory won't beat you up! He'll get sent back to San Jose AND WE WILL BE ALL ALONE WITHOUT OUR CAPTAIN. Ask yourself, do you REALLY want that on your conscience?!?

If you want to come and need directions, email me, my email address is in my profile and in the disclaimer on the left.

  1. Rivet being sent back to San Jose should be more than enough to bring people to the party, right?

you can TOTALLY still come, its not a bar, its a bar/restaurant. I mean, I'm a teacher, if your parents can't be down with you hanging out with a teacher and watching hockey, then phooey on them!

Yeah she's pretty badass and could probably beat us up. But she likes hockey too so it's all good.

But like I said, do schedule another one and I'll try my best to be there! I need to meet some of you peeps.

  15. I WANNA GOOOOOO!!!

But since Kim and I can't physically be there, we'll be there in spirit, but look for us on TV after the Sabres score and we'll kinda sorta be there?

  16. Can we try to impress everyone with your awesome ability to tell people what round and number overall people were drafted? I have so much fun with that.

  17. Hey ladies, I think I'm going to try to make an appearance after my concert, but that won't be until after 10. I'll see you if you stay late!

  18. I am looking forward to seeing Anne's draft skills. You see, my cousin was a former first round draft choice of the Oilers.

    Consider it on.
