Matt Greene Appreciation Day

by Anne

Matthew Xavier Greene, my LA Kings WCB is trying DESPERATELY to score those two goals I guaranteed he'd score.

In last night's 5-2 win over the Caps, Ovie turned over the puck in the King's zone, Greener snatched it up and made a great pass ahead to Patrick O'Sullivan who zoomed into the Caps zone and scored!! Weeeeee!!!

That gives him his 2nd point of the season! Woo!! Now he's on pace for 9 whole points in 82 games! Take THAT, Alexander Semin!

I did not make this sign but the person who did and I are surely kindred spirits

Private to Paul Gaustad:

Dear Goose,

I'm sorry you're dead to me. Really, I am. However, Craigory is not afraid to touch a fish:

Oh, I went there.

Watch the latest episode of SabresTV if you have no idea what I'm talking about. I have to admit that as much as I love Goose for his "Grrrr and I love the environment" ways, I love that his Achilles' heel is fish and worms. I agree Goose, fish freak me out as well.

Love,

Anne

oh yeah, and:

MARK MARK MARK MARK MARK MARK MARK MARK!!!! HE'S HERE!!!!!!!!!!

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!

Max and Hank are sitting and Paetsch is playing!! yay!!!!!

They're the only ones I have left to love...

:)

  1. That Gaustad bit was so cute. He was getting all embarrassed that she was asking him about the fishing trip. He was polite but you know he really wanted to say, "Who the fuck told you that?!!" Ah poor little Goose is afraid to touch a fish and put a worm on a hook. A man after my own heart.

  3. Patches looks so innocent in that picture!
Oh, and I'm going to attempt to watch the Sabres Show on TV today, if my mom is willing...she already hates it.

  4. Ahahahaha something Goose and I have in common... Worms freak me out. Worms and parasites are the only two things in the world that can honestly make me cringe with squeamish feelings.

  5. Did you hear your darling Big Bear scored last night? I thought he might never score again!

  6. AHHHHH Mark and Nate. <3333 them.

I saw you tonight, but you were way on the other side of my section and I never would've got your attention...

And I also saw Timmy... But I'll tell everyone about that tomorrow.

Fish freak me out in general I think its the whole, "cannot survive in air" deal. I've had a few fish and every time I had to take them out of the bowl to clean it I'd get all grossed out, haha

its actually quite easy to get my attention if you make a distinct enough hand gesture. Its usually hard to tell the difference between a "Camera! LOOK AT ME!" And a "HEY YOU WITH THE POPCORN!"

And I also saw Timmy... But I'll tell everyone about that tomorrow.

    OY. Timmy.

I've gotten so used to him not scoring that I didn't bother checking. AND HE DID!! And I wrote a whole post about it, hahaha.

    THAT'S SO AWESOME!!!!

I cannot WAIT until the Kings come to Buffalo. If it wouldn't destroy my bank account I'd take the night off so I can properly adore him.

He's got 2 assits, can that be added together and count as a goal?!?!

DEFINITELY do something to embarrass him. His first game back from his broken leg, I made a similar sign when the Oilers played the Thrashers. During warm ups, he saw it, turned BRIGHT red, and missed the net from about 10 feet away... it was empty.

As for the kings, he got SO MANY elbow nudges and laughs. HE WILL SCORE THIS YEAR! I just know it!
